Messy Desk

A messy desk is a sign that lots of work is getting done, right? Right?

Back from a snow day!

After the storm of the past few days, we had our work cut out for us first thing this morning! The door was froze shut, so I had to call over somebody from across the street and he opened it for us, in his sneaker feet and all! (I was much more prepared to walk in a snowdrift with my kamek.)

Our giant snowbank.

Our giant snowbank.

A triumphant stand over the snow that faced us this morning. But you can't see my cute boots! :(

Snow days are fun, but I really just couldn’t enjoy them knowing a deadline is looming!! Glad to be back and getting work done!

Office closed – we have a blizzard!

Office closed - we have a blizzard!

This photo doesn’t do justice to the storm raging outside (you can barely see a thing while driving) but suffice to say, it’s bad out there. Just like many either places in town, Them Days is closed this afternoon (Feb. 4).

Quiet

It’s been quiet here in the Them Days office. The weird weather seems to be keeping people at home (yesterday’s freezing precipitation froze the door shut at the office and it took a few good body slams to get it open at the end of the day) and we’re steady working. All three of us are busy typing, so the only thing you here is click-click-click-tap-tap-tap, and the occasional laughter followed by “Listen to this!” as we find something interesting in a transcript. I suppose we are making a lot of noise when we’re outside, chipping away at the ice on our step with a metal shovel, but other than that, it’s pretty quiet.

Now that I’ve broken the silence, it’s time to go back to clicking and tapping. (And all too many backspace-backspace-backspaces.)
