Happy New Year! It’s been a while since we’ve blogged and updated everyone on what’s happening at Them Days. There have been quite a few changes over the last month: Aimee went on maternity leave after welcoming baby Maggie into the world, and I’ve joined the team as acting editor.
All this change has taken some getting use to but it hasn’t slowed work or publishing. Our new cookbook Grub hit the shelves just in time for Christmas, and there’s still lots of these great books left if you haven’t yet gotten your copy.
The latest issue, 40.4, has arrived at the office and will be hitting mailboxes and then stores very soon. Layout has already begun on the next issue (41.1) which will focus on women in Labrador and, fingers crossed, be out in time for International Women’s Day on March 8.
And let’s not forget the online auction we are planning for February. If you have any items to donate, we’d be more than happy to accept. Events like this are how Them Days are continuously able to bring you the stories of Labrador.
So 2017 is shaping up to be a busy year ahead! But, with your continued support, I know it will be just fine.
